YMCA Capital Development
Over its 120 year history, the YMCA of Greater Houston has changed lives and communities by providing programs and services where they are needed most. From the farthest suburb to the most central urban community, the YMCA is there.
Capital Development efforts allow the Y to expand its reach and multiply the impact of its programs and services. Expansions or renovations of existing facilities and/or the development of new facilities ensure that the YMCA is ready to meet the ever changing needs of our region.
Our current capital development projects are in the silent phase of coordination and giving, but we welcome interested donors' participation. The YMCA center projects slated for the next round of capital development work to occur over the next three to seven years are: Baytown, Clay Road, Cypress Creek, Downtown, Creekside (South Montgomery County), Katy, Lake Houston, Langham Creek, Magnolia/Tomball, Trotter, South Central, TW Davis, and Weekley Family. Pledges to these capital development initiatives (expansions, renovations or new facility) can be made over a period of three to five years.
