Welcome to 2013 Y Freedom Triathlon! The sprint distance triathlon (300 meter swim, 11 mile bike, 3 mile run) will take place in the heart of Pearland, TX, on June 30, 2013!
For our 7th annual event, we are going to 'purple up' to thank our military for the freedom we all enjoy. Purple is the color that symbolizes all branches of the military, as it is the combination of Army green, Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Marine red and Navy blue. You will receive a Brooks participant shirt, visor, and finisher medal. You can race in honor or in memory of a loved one in the military and have their name on a banner at the finish line. Team RWB will be our sweepers for the race and cross the finish line last! Our local veterans and volunteers will make this a first class event you will not want to miss.
And as always, we will have a PARTICIPANT ONLY triathlon bike drawing (valued at $1499), so you might ride away on a brand new tri bike! Don't be left out of the fun. This will be the best year yet!
