Gator Ride Parking

 The following areas have been designated as official parking sites for the 2011 Baytown Family YMCA Gator Ride.

Ride participants are asked to follow the directions of the volunteers directing traffic into parking lots.

Parking lots are utilized in order starting from nearest proximity to the registration pavilion and working outward. Participants are asked not to park along surrounding streets, in parking lots of private businesses, or in parking lots not specifically marked as Gator Ride Parking.

Lot #1 – Lee College Whiting Center, Parking 10 and 11 (200 vehicles) – This lot is located within 200 yards of the registration area for the ride. Participants should take West Texas Avenue to Felton Street and follow the directions of the parking attendants to the Whiting Center lot.

Lot #2 – Lee College Texas Avenue Auxiliary,  Parking 13 (100 vehicles) – This lot is next in accessibility to the registration area. Enter the lot from West Texas Avenue and follow the directions of the parking attendants. NOTE: As a safety measure for young riders in the Family Ride, only the first 75 vehicles to arrive will gain access to this lot. Lot #3 - Memorial Baptist Church – 600 W. Sterling St. (300 vehicles) – A spacious lot located approximately one-fourth mile from the registration area.

Lot #4 - Lee College Administration Building – 909 Decker Drive (165 vehicles)

Lot #5 - Old San Jacinto Methodist Hospital - 1101 Decker Drive (300 vehicles)

Lot #6 - Goose Creek Stream – 1400 Decker Drive (150 vehicles)

Lot #7 - South Trust Bank Building – 1900 Decker Drive (60 vehicles)

Lot #8 - GCCISD Peter Hyland Alternative Learning Program – 1609 Decker Drive (110 vehicles)
