Welcome to the Northwest YMCA
The YMCA began offering youth and family programs in the Northwest Houston area as early as 1919 in the Houston Heights community. Over the years the Northwest Family YMCA has distinguished itself through such initiatives as developing outreach programs at the Cy Fair community pool, managing the Dad's Club YMCA on the Katy Freeway at the time of the Dad's Club merger with the Houston YMCA in 1960, and developing an historic Y youth sports program. It has been our pleasure serving you.
The Doty Family Memorial Chapel was dedicated on June 14, 2007. Men's scripture sharing and Women's bible study are held on a regular basis.
The YMCA has a mission, a purpose and promotes values. Our proven mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Our programs enrich family relationships with parents and children participating together in activities. The YMCA provides programs that build five core values: Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Caring and Faith.
Please feel free to share your comments and concerns with any of our Staff Associates. It is our goal to not only satisfy our Members, but delight them. So please, COME JOIN US!
Sincerely,
Jenna Dhayer
