This year through YMCA Operation Backpack a number of children will get the opportunity to shop for their own school supplies for perhaps the first time in their lives.

 

Through your generosity, we will provide children with a school supply shopping spree where each child will receive $50 to spend on school supplies.

 

Making an investment in the lives of our children is a great way to give back to the Houston community. Starting school without a backpack and school supplies can be an embarrassing time for a young child and with your donations, we can help ease that discomfort.
