The Post Oak Family YMCA has been a landmark since 1974 serving the community for over 30 years. We are more than a place to work out, more than a swimming pool or a gymnasium. The Post Oak Y is a place where individuals and families can belong, grow and develop in spirit, mind and body. If you have driven by and never come in for a tour, you donÃ¢â,¬â"¢t know what you are missing!

We have a complete facility with an 8,000 square foot fitness center, at least three machines for each station; a large free weight area with NEW weights, dozens of cardiovascular machines, including treadmills, elliptical machines, bikes, rowers, and more. Utilizing our 4 Group Exercise Studios and our multipurpose rooms, We offer over 140 Group Exercise classes per week including Indoor Cycling, BODYPUMPÃ,Â®, Yoga, Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Low Impact, several varieties of STEP and much more. We have a 25 meter, 8-lane heated swimming pool, an outdoor running track, a large gymnasium, two racquetball/handball courts, two tennis courts, a Teen Center, a Youth Activity Center with an awesome climbing wall and , an outdoor Family Fun Center with batting cages and a basketball court, men's and women's locker rooms equipped with steam rooms and whirlpools. We offer an after school child care program, older youth and teen program, a superior Youth Sports program, Family Programs including YAdventure Guides, Gymnastic classes, summer sports camps, the largest Adult Sports program in the city and FREE ChildWatch/babysitting for members in Kids Corner and Kids Town!

To further assist you in meeting your health & wellness goals, we provide FREE to all our members a complete fitness orientation with one of our YMCA certified wellness trainers who will set up your individualized work-out program to fit your needs and goals. Our trainers work the wellness center consistently providing free customer service and assistance with your workouts. The Post Oak YMCA is truly for everyone!
