The YMCA is the leading provider of family-oriented fitness and recreation in this community and serves as a hub of community activity, providing physical, recreational, social and educational programs and services for all. Last year alone, the YMCA served over 40,000 people.

The YMCA is growing along with The Woodlands and South Montgomery County. We are now One Membership with Two Locations. The 2nd YMCA location, Branch Crossing YMCA is in the Village of Sterling Ridge and is located off Woodlands Parkway and Ashlane Way, near Branch Crossing 9th Grade Campus. It features an indoor adventure center, family water park, spacious wellness center and exceptional child watch facility. A 3rd YMCA location is being planned in the new Creekside Development off Gosling, between FM 2920 and Woodlands Parkway.
