Keep your Kids Active This Summer!

The YMCA is a Great Place to be a Kid and have Fun this Summer! The South Montgomery County YMCA is gearing up for a fun filled summer. Registration is now available for all YMCA Summer Programs including Y Day Camp, Y Youth Sports, Y Swim Lessons, Y Child Care, Sports Clinics, Y Teen Camp, Performing Art, Ballet and much more. Hurry in . . . early sessions fill up quickly.

Y Day Camp/Teen Camp programs are packed with activities that fill summer days and enables a child to have a summer camp experience while returning home at the end of the day. A variety of age specific camps will be available this summer for youth ages 5 - 15 years. Offered in 1 week sessions, the first session begins June 9th.

Y Youth Sports program is designed so that each athlete is guaranteed to play 50% of every game regardless of their skill level. The summer program will include basketball, T-Ball/Baseball and volleyball for ages 3 - 13. Registration deadline is June 14.

Summer Sports Clinics will return this summer providing kids, ages 6 - 12, the opportunity to learn new skills and improve current skills. Each session is unique and dynamic with a different sport and drills introduced weekly. The first weekly sessions begin June 9th. Most clinic sessions run 3 hours daily, Monday, Thursday. Camps include Cheerleading, Baseball, Golf, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Jump Rope, Tiny Tots Soccer, Basketball and T-Ball.

Y Swim Lessons: Learning to swim at the YMCA is more than just stroke development! The YMCA, America's favorite swim instructor, offers a variety of morning and evening classes for ALL levels and ALL ages including Parent/Child, Pre-School and School-Age. The first summer session begins June 9th! Other aquatic programs available include competitive stroke booster class and youth swim league.

Performing Arts: The summer program is comprised of 3 unique weekly workshops, Monday - Friday, 1:30 -4:15pm for students K -12th grade. Each workshop will focus on a different musical production, Grease, High School Musical 2 and High School Musical. The first session begins June 9th.

Ballet: Students, ages 2 - 8, will learn the basics of ballet. Weekday afternoon and Saturday morning classes will be available. Times will vary depending on age group. The summer session will run July 7 - August 2.
