Celebrating our 10th Anniversary!

To commemorate our 10th anniversary, we're adding a 10K event. 10 years, 10 kilometers. For a cause like ours, we think that makes perfect sense. Some things, though, remain the same – starting with our traditional Thanksgiving date and fun, family-themed events like a 5K, kids 1 mile race and a family-oriented 1 mile walk/run.

Of course, the best tradition of all is our commitment to the community and the funds generated to award scholarships for child care, summer camps, swim lessons, sports leagues, eyeglasses for KISD students and assistance to the Association of Retarded Citizens (ARC) of Katy.

Another tradition is an ever-growing story of participation and fundraising success. Last year more than 4400 people participated and for the first time raised over $125,000. For a group of runners like us, that's one instance where higher numbers are viewed as a very good thing.

We hope you can join us this year – for a great cause, a great series of events and our post-race activities which include a kids fun zone, games and food.
