The Health Museum is Houston's only interactive science center in the country with a focus on the life sciences. The Health Museum encourages an interest in health, medicine and the life sciences with exhibits and programs designed for both children and adults. The Health Museum is a member institution of the world-renowned Texas Medical Center and features permanent exhibits such as:
- You: The Exhibit: you can see what you’ll look like in 30 years, or what you would look like as a different gender or race!
- The Amazing Body Pavilion: a larger than life tour through the human body including a mega brain, floor to ceiling rib cage and Texas-sized teeth!
- Planet You 3D: an exploration into the creepy crawly world of creatures that live and thrive on your SKIN!
