Spring Into Fun!

With a location near you, the Y has everything you need for a fun, action-packed spring.

Swim Lessons • Ages 6 Months-Adult

Spring is a GREAT time to introduce your child to the water or build their existing skills before summer. To ensure comfort, our lessons are taught by encouraging, certified instructors in heated pools.

YMCA swim lessons are formatted to ensure personalized attention and self-paced mastery of skills, so that students build confidence, have fun and learn new skills when they're ready.

Youth Sports • Grades Pre-K-12

When kids have fun playing sports, amazing things can happen! Playing team sports help children become more confident and develop sportsmanship – and the benefits of sports reach far beyond the field or court – even beyond adulthood!

Studies have shown that kids who play sports earn up to 40% higher test scores and are more likely to stay active throughout their entire lives, reducing risk of cancer, diabetes and other serious diseases. That’s why having fun is our goal, why we never have tryouts, and why every team member plays.

With a wide variety of sports offered at YMCAs across Houston this spring, including t-ball, baseball, volleyball, NFL flag football and soccer, now is a great time to encourage your child to try a new sport and to stay active. Spring sports practice begin the week of March 26.
