Strategic planning and a vision to propel social growth are what drive John as an experienced leader. He is committed to fostering and developing teams to help impact millions of lives, and his extensive knowledge in both the for-profit and non-profits sectors has aided fundraising and capital development efforts.
Fiscal management as well as orchestrating operations with hospitals, corporations and foundations are a large part of John’s role with the YMCA of Greater Houston. As an executive, he has a demonstrated record of positively impacting revenue trends resulting in exceeding financial and development goals.
Cultivating strategic alliances and collaborative partnerships with volunteers, institutional partners, outside agencies, and organizations, while leveraging the support of public and private stakeholders are aspects he especially enjoys. John is passionate about the little things and motivated to make a difference every day.
John is a dedicated husband and father who couldn't be prouder of their collective accomplishments. He enjoys the outdoors as an active cyclist and rower and is proud to be Pittsburgh "born and raised".
John’s goal is to continue contributing to the overall well-being and positive environment of the YMCA of Greater Houston to ultimately create lasting resources and benefits for the community for years to come.
