STEM Activities You Can Do At Home

Help support your child's learning with fun STEM activities you can do at home.

Here's one easy idea to curb the summer learning loss:  Shadow Tracking

Learn all about the movement of the earth by tracking shadows throughout the day.

1.  Have your child stand in the same spot at various times of the day

2.  Mark with chalk on the sidewalk how "tall" their shadow is at each hour.

3.  Discuss why our shadows shrink and grow and what that teaches us about the movement of the earth.
