Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years across the world because it’s a great way to build strength, stamina and flexibility, without putting undue stress on your body. By meditating, focusing on your breath and stretching your muscles, a yoga practice also cultivates a wonderful sense of inner peace and serenity. 

With a variety of yoga classes from beginner to more advanced, from kids to seniors, and even family yoga, our Ys make it possible for everyone to enjoy the mental and physical benefits of this practice. 

Beginner Yoga - Build a strong body, mind and spirit through yoga. This class incorporates yoga postures, breathing exercises and a focused mind to improve balance and flexibility. Basic moves are introduced at a slower pace for beginners. 

Intermediate Yoga - This class incorporates yoga postures, breathing exercises and a focused mind to improve balance and flexibility. Tone the body and tune the mind. Learn calmness, focus energy and regain inner peace while improving physical strength. This class will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. 

Yoga & Pilates (PiYo) - This is the ultimate mind and body workout. It combines yoga and Pilates into one class in order to stretch and strengthen your core. 

BodyFlow - This is a yoga, tai chi and Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength, leaving you feeling centered and calm. 

Family Yoga - This class incorporates yoga postures, breathing exercises and a focused mind to improve balance and flexibility. Moves the whole family can do! 

Active Older Adults Yoga Stretch - This class will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. Designed for our Active Older Adults members. 

Mat Science - This is a fusion of yoga, Pilates, core and stabilizing techniques. Increase your strength, flexibility and balance in this class for all levels. 

Power Yoga - Increase strength, flexibility and relaxation at an advanced level in this yoga class. Power yoga is vigorous, fitness-based approach which emphasis on strength, flexibility and slow transitions. 

Yoga Sculpt - Tone the body and tune the mind. Learn calmness, focus energy and regain inner peace while improving physical strength. Resistance equipment is used in this class.
