Turkey Dash Volunteer Opportunities

The Turkey Dash would not be successful without the help of so many wonderful volunteers. 

Volunteers are needed for the following Pre-event and Race Day tasks:

  • Packet Stuffing (Saturday, Nov 10;  9 am The Fellowship)

  • Packet Pick-up (Saturday, Nov 17;  10 am-1:30 pm Monty Ballard YMCA)

  • Packet Pick-up (Saturday, Nov 17;  1:30-5 pm Monty Ballard YMCA)

  • Packet Pick-up (Sunday, Nov 18;  1-4 pm Monty Ballard YMCA)

  • Packet Pick-up (Monday, Nov 19; 4-7 pm Monty Ballard YMCA)

  • Packet Pick-up (Tuesday, Nov 20;  4-7 pm Monty Ballard YMCA)

  • Packet Pick-up (Wednesday, Nov 21; 10 am-2 pm Monty Ballard YMCA)

  • Packet Pick-up (Wednesday, Nov 21; 2-6 pm Monty Ballard YMCA)

  • Packet Pick-up (Thursday, Nov 22; 6:45-8:45 am Monty Ballard YMCA)

  • Pre-Race Set-up (Wednesday, Nov 21; 12-3 pm Monty Ballard YMCA)

  • Kids Zone (set up activities, monitors kids etc.)

  • Parking/Shuttle setup (set up cones/signs, direct traffic to appropriate parking locations)

  • Cheer Squad (create signs and cheer for runners along multiple locations along the course)

  • Water Stations (set up and hand out water to runners at multiple locations along the course)

  • Start Line (ensure runners are in the correct corral, hold corral signs)

  • Finish Line (usher runners through finish line, hand out medals)

  • Post Race (set up area, hand out food, pick up trash etc.)

  • Road Marshal (ensure runners are safe while on the course, intersection control)

  • Race Results Tent (set up table/computers, assist runners find their race time)

  • Race Timer Assistants (runner to/from results tent, provide results to awards table)
