Choosing an Annual Membership secures a lower, fixed rate with a 12-month commitment. Prefer more flexibility? Our Month-to-Month option requires no contract, though it comes at a higher rate that may be subject to change.

The maximum number of people that can be on your membership is determined by the number that reside in your household. We are proud to offer flexible membership options for every person and family designed to help you live your safest and healthiest life with a great workout experience. We offer a wide variety of membership options for including gym memberships for families, couples, young adults and seniors. You are sure to find a membership type that is applicable to your household and fitness journey. Plus, our facilities offer care for the kids while you work out so that everyone can prioritize their fitness.

Some Medicare and health insurance plans include a YMCA membership benefit. The YMCA of Greater Houston participates in Renew Active, Silver&Fit, and SilverSneakers (and some third-party administrators such as Wellhub). To verify eligibility, call or stop by your local YMCA center.

No – in order to make our memberships accessible to all and to remove barriers to joining, we do not charge a joining fee or annual fees when you purchase a membership.

Your city-wide membership includes access to all of our YMCA of Greater Houston facilities with swimming pools, advanced fitness equipment within our Wellness Centers and group fitness classes (both in person and on-demand). You will also find motivation, support and community connections at the Y. In addition to accessing all YMCA centers and all the programs that you love, your membership gives you the power to help those in our community who need the Y most.
